Hades
Hades is the second car built by Coalescence, designed with all of the knowledge gained from racing Icarus for the previous two seasons. The goal was to take the fight to the top, and this was achieved by thoroughly designing the entire car over a period of three months using Fusion 360. The car was then constructed over the next 4 months by Joel and Jason

Design to Construction
Hades was fully designed in Autodesk Fusion 360, with Autodesk CFD used to simulate the aerodynamic package. We used our knowledge and expertise to create a Greenpower car to the best of our ability to compete for the championship.

Hades has a plywood frame, reinforced with carbon fibre for strength. It also has a carbon fibre aerodynamic bodyshell. This combination has created a very lightweight vehicle, whilst still being incredibly strong.
