Our Cars

Since Coalescence was formed, we have built 2 cars. Icarus and Hades. Designed by Joel, they offer a key insight into the journey the team has taken over the last 3 years. 

Icarus was the first car made with initially little consideration for weight or aerodynamics, but as time went on the potential was released through a range of aerodynamic and electronic upgrades increasing race distance by nearly 30% after just 1 season.

Hades is the second car designed by Joel. Using fusion 360 it was fully designed in CAD before any manufacturing began which has led to a far lighter and more aerodynamic design than Icarus ever could be.
